A DAY EXPLORING THE DELIGHTS OF PAPER AND CREATING SIMPLE BOOK STRUCTURES.

Workshop: Paper is a tactile, versatile, everyday and extraordinary material. In this introductory workshop you will learn to create different book forms, using varied papers and a range of techniques, including folding, cutting, gluing and simple sewing.
On the workshop you will learn how to create fun and simple:
- Pamphlet books
- Maze books
- Beak books
- Origami books with flower folds
- Map books
And if there's any time left at the end, you'll also get to learn how to create a blizzard book.
This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of book making and for artists to see how it can be used in their work.
Time: The workshop starts at 10:30am prompt and will finish at 4:30pm.
Lunch: Lunch is included within the price of the workshop. Please let us know when booking if you have any dietary requirements.
What to bring: Glasses if you need them for close work and please ensure you wear sturdy, fully enclosed shoes.
